Editing some images from The Boat Project for possible inclusion in the global Harken brochure, I came across this one which seems to reflect the current weather.
Shooting the start of the Cowes- Deauville race for the Royal Southern Yacht Club as part of their 175 Anniversary Regatta. Light breezes meant that drama was hard to find but the crew of this Class 3 Figaro II certainly wanted to get noticed.
An extremely wet day to be out shooting but such a fantastic event. Filmed with Toby Adamson on a combination of Sony NX-70 (waterproof!), Canon 5D2 and GoPro2 and edited by Toby.
Berry Place made this superbly crafted glass crown on a cork cushion; commissioned by Dom Perignon for the Harrods window display marking the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The library of silhouettes created for Macmillan Cancer Support continues to grow. I particularly like the way the shot of David and his son Soloman has been used on the cover of a DM envelope, wrapped around the window
Finally launched, after a year of hard toil and amazing creativity. The 30' yacht, built by Mark Covell and his team, designed by Rogers Yacht Design and commissioned by Lone Twin as part of the Cultural Olympiad ended up with donations and stories from 1221 people.
Macmillan Cancer Support recently refreshed their brand and have started using silhouettes of people involved with the charity to support case studies we've worked on. They've proved really effective, complementing the well established shots of objects. Sure to be an ongoing series...
